Here is a re-posting of a response I wrote to a couple asking about what Colette's is like on the first visit. I wrote this based on our first visit to Colette's some years ago. Colette's wasn't our first On-premises Swinger's Club. This represents my personal opinion and does not reflect the views of Colette's or it's Owners or their staff. I just thought someone else may care to share what we experienced. Enjoy. *****As first time visitors, you can request a Club tour. A Staff member will escort you on a 10 or 15 minute walk through of the first and second floors. There is a third floor which was a "European style" (i.e. common restroom {private toilet} boutique hotel, showers and kitchen & Themed Suites), but I understand it's not currently available. You enter Colette's from the street at the Doorman staffed front door. It's a very well appointed facility of the upscale club style. Then you'll be in the separate registration/coat room entry. First timers fill out a confidential member's application (5 minutes), pay for membership and visit, and meet you Staff escort for the tour.Then also on the first floor there is the lounge, service bar, DJ, dance floor and restrooms. Next it's upstairs by elevator or stairs. View the complete facility on-line at the Colette's website. Ask questions of the Staff Escort about anything. They explain the Club Rules in detail during the walk-through. Then you're free to socialize. We suggest you start in the first floor Lounge. Since you're here to meet and play with new people with similar interest, take a chance and start a conversation with anyone and everyone. Ask someone to dance even if you don't have any rhythem...it's a great ice-breaker. Let me suggest that you visit the Library lounge on the second floor, which is also a good place to meet new people. There is a video theater adjoining the Library. You can meet folks there in a little more intimate environment if you care. In the Theater some people are viewing the big screen full length videos, some are playing, some are watching the people playing and some are just passing through. You can view more sensual interaction in the Voyeur Room (large one-way mirrors on two walls) or perform anonymously yourselves for the enjoyment of others. Colette's is an "on-premises" lifestyle club and there are private and semi-private bedrooms. Play with your pardner or invite a new friend or friends to join you. There are separate men's and women's restrooms on the second floor with shower accommodations. There is an on-duty housekeeper who immediately replaces linens and cleans the rooms between each visitor, PROMPTLY! Visitor traffic increases with each hour, so the later the evening, then the more people will likely be there. I hope this satisfies some of your curiosity. I think that you will find that if you make the effort early enough in your visit to speak with as many new people at Colette's as you can, you will find that, despite any initial apprehensions about visiting a new club like Colette's, you will be rewarded with a very entertaining and more enjoyable evening than if you come and do not indulge yourselves in the moment.
